The acronym REMIT stands for Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency. This is EU Regulation No. 1227/2011, in force in Italy by Law No. 161/2014. The data published in this section concern the information subject to publication pursuant to Art. 4.1, available to Terna, regarding the infrastructures for which it is responsible. The information regards the capacity and use of electricity transport infrastructure, including any planned or unplanned unavailability of assets.

Starting 15 September 2022, in compliance with ACER’s request regarding the timely and effective publication of inside information, Terna will stop publishing Section B on the REMIT page of the website, that is the information available on capacity and electricity transport infrastructure use (beyond what is required by Regulation 543/2013 and published on the ENTSO-E central platform) and begin publishing it on the GME Piattaforma Informazioni Privilegiate (PIP) (Inside Information Platform).

The information published through 14 September 2022 will be available as a data consulting tool for at least 5 years.
