FEES

The costs of dispatching activities to ensure the balance between electricity supply and demand on the national transmission grid are covered by the revenue generated by the so-called "fees" applied to dispatching users. These include, for instance, the fees covering the costs arising from imbalances between electricity injections and withdrawals in the grid; costs incurred for wind production modulation, for essential system security units, and to remunerate primary regulation. As TSO, Terna is tasked with calculating and publishing the information and values of the unit fees, according to the criteria set forth in the resolutions of the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment (ARERA). This section provides data on: aggregate zonal imbalance, unit fees, dispatching fees, and capacity procurement fees.
